Liked the location really close to everything. Had nice dainties at Zamaan Cafe, located next to the hotel. We booked spotless and brand-new deluxe room with refrigerator and microwave and could use wake-up service, available in it.

1. It allows pets. We have a miniature poodle. 2. It is ideallly located for our style of vacation travel between northern Michigan and Virginia. 3. The match of breakfast between Red Roof Inn and Big Boy is great. 4. I made a mistake in my answer below about th ewebsite. I did not use the website. I made the reservation by telephone. And I could not figure out hos top delete my answers below to your questions about the website

Clean and comfortable rooms
Shower pressure is too low and there is only a temperature control ... No ability to control the volume of water ... Not nice ...

The upgrade to the rooms has been quite nicely done. I and my family have stayed at this inn many times since about 1980.
The Wi-Fi is insecure and should be improved. Open port 80 and 443 as I remember.

I liked the fact that I was able to be transported to u of m hospital as early as I needed for surgery. I was not real happy to learn that The Med Inn (located in the hospital conplex) cheaper than the Red Roof in and it also provided a breakfast. I thought I was given the lower rate since I was a patient.??? Please respond. Marianne Dillon jmdill@tds.net
The rate.

During my stay here, I used it as a home base for exploring around. It was a great time filled with fun activities and I had the pleasure of meeting incredibly welcoming staff, especially the friendly desk clerk. Everything went smoothly and I know for sure that I'll be choosing to stay here again during my next trip. 🌟

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very easy access to Route 23 (major highway). Breakfast at Big Boy was good. Staff at restaurant were cheerful, pleasant, and "on their toes".

Breakfast at big boy, clean room, helpful sign in, nice woman in morning allowed us to print boarding passes.
We were in 248 or 246, I cant remember. We had loser clientele two doors down drinking beer and smoking all nite both friday and saturday nite on balcony outside our room at 130am and 300 am. I had to talk to the jerks twice on Friday and once on Saturday. I called the desk both nights to complain. The night desk manager said "I will go up there" but we never had any further contact with management either nite or the next day to find out if things were better, apologize, whatever.
